Intense aromas of cherry, tar, wild herb and camphor signal this rich, fleshy red. Cherry fruit comes forward on the palate, while tobacco, licorice and iron notes play supporting roles. The dusty tannins are moderate. Long finish. Best from 2019 through 2032. 1,600 cases imported. -BS
