"Warm scents of honey butter, brown sugar, sweet oak and vanilla bean waft out of the glass. After opening up there are layers of sweet oak, cinnamon, cornbread, honey-roasted peanuts and cocoa all accented by savory clove and tobacco spice. The palate opens with toffee and vanilla sweetness before moving into cherry preserves, toasted oak, graham cracker and barrel char. Subsequent sips show leather, allspice, cinnamon, white pepper, honey and dark chocolate. The finish is long and spicy, showing brown sugar, cinnamon, allspice, clove, hints of dark chocolate, cherry and caramel. A sweet and oaky bourbon with just enough spice to balance everything out, this is a prime example of a classic of bonded whiskey.” - Ray’s Spirits Team
