  1. Wisconsin Brewing Company Tasting with Kirby Nelson6:30pm - $20

    Wednesday, September 10th @ 6:30pm

Wisconsin Brewing Company Tasting with Kirby Nelson

Let’s talk about two amazing things: The heart (the Brewery itself) and soul (the Brewmaster himself) of Wisconsin Brewing Company. Steel from Waunakee. Steamwork from Milwaukee. Blacktop from Waukesha. Electrical from Mt. Horeb. Even a genuine Huppmann brewhouse, designed in Germany but constructed in Hudson, Wisconsin. These statewide materials have created a home for great crafted brews, led is large part by Brewmaster Kirby Nelson. 50% mad scientist, 50% passionate artist, 100% brewing alchemist and tireless advocate for the craft beer industry, Kirby has been developing beers for over 25 years now. Please join us as Mr. Nelson demonstrates his passion for beer while sampling a variety of his creations, featuring Ol' Reliable Wisconsin Helles, Zenith Saison, India Pale Pale Bock Dry Hopped Golden Bock, Bleeding Heart Amber Saison, Brown & Robust Porter, and few other surprises! This will be an evening you don’t want to miss!

  5. Sensational Sangiovese with John Edwards of Winebow6:30pm - $25

    Wednesday, October 22nd @ 6:30pm

Sensational Sangiovese with John Edwards of Winebow

Sangiovese, ‘the blood of Jove,’ is the premier grape of Central Italy, especially Tuscany! However, Sangiovese is not relegated to Tuscany only; this phenomenal varietal also comes to us from further north in Emilia-Romagna with Castelluccio’s Le More, as well as from the southern coast in Molise with Di Majo Norante, and Falesco shows how well Sangiovese shines in the region of Umbria. That said, Sangiovese from Tuscany is considered to be the greatest of all, and we are not going to let you down! First, taste the difference of Chianti Classico with Castello di Bossi versus Chianti Classico Reserva, produced by Il Poggiale of Castellare. From here we move on to the bold and beautiful Fattoria Le Pupille of Morellino di Scansano, to the elegant and approachable Valdipiatta Vino Noble di Montepulciano, and we finish the evening with the incomparable Altesino, Brunello di Montalcino! This will be a night to remember!
